Trick or treat, PRIVILEGE fam!

No holiday appeals to sneaker companies quite like Halloween, with designs running rampant with neon colors and scary-good graphics. As countless renditions of spooky kicks have circulated on shelves in past years, a select number of styles have become the stuff of sneaker legend.

Check out the list below for five of our favorite Halloween-themed kicks  — we've also paired them with styles straight from the PRIVILEGE shop:

1. Nike Blazer Mid Off-White “All Hallow’s Eve”

A quintessential sneaker in its own right, the Nike Blazer Mid is one of the few Swoosh silhouettes that combines timeless style with effortless versatility. Virgil Abloh’s 2018 take on the classic sneaker adds a novelty spin to the otherwise understated sneaker. The monochromatic orange colorway adorned with the hard-to-miss OFF-WHITE text creates for a staple sneaker, in and out of spooky season.

WEAR IT WITH:

Apache Dark Denim Pants Multi - $440 USD

Western Elders Snack Box Tee - $40 USD

2. Nike SB Dunk Low “Night of Mischief”

A new addition to Nike’s fleet of creepy kicks is 2019’s Nike SB Dunk Low “Night of Mischief.” Dropped earlier this month on October 14, this limited-edition sneaker features an essential Halloween colorway of neon green, orange and purple with motifs of spiders and cobwebs. The shoe, which was recently purchased by the Berrics Canteen and dropped on October 29, are available at the retailer under specific terms - if you can do a kickflip, they’re yours!

WEAR IT WITH:

PRIVILEGE Small New York Core Logo Tee "Purple" - $40 USD

Saints & Sinners Pinocchio Logo Tee  -$40 USD

3. Nike SB Dunk Low "Freddy Krueger"

We can’t necessarily say we’ve ever had our hands on this pair of shoes, but it is nonetheless a sneaker that lives on in footwear infamy. The Nike SB Dunk Low “Freddy Krueger” is nearly just as much a myth as the villain himself, with pairs going on resale websites for as much as $16,000 USD. The classic striped shirt print underneath blood-splattered leather, and the sleek metallic silver Swoosh, make for an essential look that screams “Halloween!”

WEAR IT WITH:

Lafayette Workers Denim Painter Pants "Indigo Blue" - $160 USD

Champion Heritage Tee "Red" - $20 USD

4. Nike SB Dunk Low “Day of the Dead”

Fully embracing the identity of kitschy Halloween kicks, Nike’s “Day of the Dead” SB Dunk Low leaves little to be desired in terms of graphics. The shoe was originally released in 2006 as the “Dia De Los Muertos” Dunk SB, exclusively in Mexico and Canada, where they retailed for a small fee of $65 USD. It has since garnered the affection of sneakerheads across the globe, and resells for up to over $5,000. Spooky!

WEAR IT WITH:

PRIVILEGE x Bongiorno Subway Series Tee Navy - $40 USD

5. Nike Air Max 95 “Halloween”

What more fitting way to close out our list than with a classic Air Max 95, appropriately titled “Halloween.” While different in aesthetic compared to the four previous sneakers, this shoe boasts its own identity — it’s something of a creature itself! With each shoe adorned with a bloodshot eye on the tongue and trim of sickly pastel mint, the sneaker presents its own persona fit for the season.

Lafayette US Cotton Half-Zip Pullover Sweatshirt - $160 USD

PRIVILEGE 'Go Outside' Dad Hat "Khaki" - $36 USD

Happy Halloween, y'all! Don't get tricked out here, but deeef be sure to get mad treats ;)
